V/Line (http://www.metlinkmelbour...) run several services a day from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. These services currently involve changing to a coach in Seymour for most of the trip. The new standard gauge line and new Wodonga station outside of the city centre are under construction and testing.

Countrylink (http://www.countrylink.info) run two services a day stopping at Albury station only. The trains run between Melbourne and Sydney.
